Compared:
Bose SoundLink Mini and JBL batch 2
Player: Nexus 5 via Bluetooth, different musical styles (Black, electro and vocal-heavy pop music)
Bose I have for some time and wanted to go to a (better) alternative look because we give a friend a birthday Speaker. The JBL came 2 days before Sony, so I could test this something more extensively, the Sony came tonight and is already packaged and ready to ship.
Bose and JBL are pretty evenly matched, the Bose wins clear in the lower volume range (as does the JBL correct problems sound artifacts with minimal volume that one but probably is not aware in everyday use, since you soo quiet eigtl never listens to music Falls yet..: hands off!)
In higher volumes I like the JBL sound a little better, with maximum volume and bass are quite equal. The decision is almost here, where the batch just has the better equipment (cell phone charging function, hands-free) and not a proprietary power supply accommodates. There are definitely both good speakers!
Now finally to Sony:
I have plugged in these and thought I can not believe my ears! The bass is indeed palpable (The box travels at max. Volume!) But not really heard, here, the case was simply wrong designed (keyword resonances). Even otherwise the sound is (no matter what the 2 modes) from the very tinny and miles from where the 2 other speakers. And you have to keep in mind that the Sony is by far the largest box of 3 is here. Since Sony has unfortunately goofed!
Out of competition, I have tested the JBL Voyager, this is sound at the same level of Bose and batch, but (thanks much gößerem volume) more bass and a noticeably higher maximum volume.
