These applications can be here clearly outline:
- Bring to a space-saving variant, to "sound (ER)" the domestic single-PC to.
- Acoustic upgrading of flat TVs - here is almost everywhere save for lack of space in the enclosure at the sound of the built-in speakers.
But that the claims sometimes colliding violently with reality is also due to the excessive technical details, especially the here and elsewhere often blatantly offered services here (Quote)
"Impressive 60W output (120 watts peak power)".
The nameplate on the back of active bass speaker, which also contains the amplifiers for the two satellite speakers, there is significantly more meaningful and called "230 V 0.3 A". That would even at 100 percent efficiency purely physically only a maximum output of 69 watts comply - but also must split on the three speakers here.
With these limitations in mind and sober sense can be prepared by thorough testing following points of criticism and praise hold:
Pro:
- Attractive design of the satellite speakers
- Bass speakers can hide it well
- For these conditions ordinary sound with reasonable volume reserves
- Separate volume control with additional mini-jack input
Cons:
- Too short cable length of the satellite speakers (measured it: about 180 cm)
- Cable attached firmly to the satellite (requires relatively expensive RCA extensions)
- Power switch back on bass speaker (if hidden, difficulties accessing)
- Loud power-cracking
- More or less dominant bass, relatively little ups
Conclusion:
For working on the computer or to weak-flat TVs acoustically on its feet you get here quite a fair return.
The comparison with the carefully selected home theater or audiophile loudspeaker combination here is ruled out simply for reasons of fairness. Of course, those who want more will receive more money in other products also more - to high-end solutions. But honestly, you look for but probably not in this price range?
