What can an extension cord you go wrong ... not really, except: - That the socket is receiving so much too large, no plug is properly adhered drinn - That the holes are so deep that a standard connector loose contact has, if you insert it all the way in.
Because I need the cable for only one purpose, and the plug is never changed, I was able to fix the connector with tape to provide good contact and tight fit. For someone who frequently changes the plug, which should also be pretty annoying.
