My orthopedic surgeon (I have a slightly battered disc in the cervical spine) had me long been advised to try out special neck pillow, which support specifically the throat and neck area. With such a pillow I had two unsuccessful attempts behind me, one of which was a discount from the discounter, another an expensive brand pillow. Even if it is, you need some time to get used to such a pillow, I could make friends with neither me ultimately. They were too thick, too warm, too uncomfortable and I can hardly turn me so in his sleep and if they do, I'm usually woke them. I felt it very concentrated.
When I could now test the offered here Comforel comfort pillow, my expectations were high, the result was at first but unfortunately just as sobering. A significant improvement was only when I a little more than half (!) Took the stuffing, the day after I have the filling volume then reduced even further. Only now, the cushion has the best for me (namely a rather low) level. I no longer sink into the pillow, but it supports now especially my neck area very well and I wake up in the morning is recovering in a general rule and without tension on.
The removal of the filling material is quick and easy. I open the zipper of the outer cover and can then the ticking, which actually contains the filling take out, (this also has a side zipper). Although the charge is referred to as ball fiber, there are fortunately no single small beads, but it feels more like a fabric made of cotton wool on. One can easily take out as much as you just want to, without that there is a mess in the room, because the fibers adhere to each other fairly. The only problem is that you have to accommodate the extracted filling somewhere. I have since resorted with a linen bag.
My pillow now has the perfect height for me and I'm very happy with it. I can not judge whether I am a special case with my preference for a rather flat and straight or straight sleeping position. Alone the soft padded upholstery of a pillow has in my opinion been a decent amount. Much additional charge must then be no more for me. Should also be mentioned that I have the pillow Shake vigorously every morning again, so that the (reduced) content help redistribute the ticking, but that you do with other pillows, too.
Everything else, such as label, certification, storage bag, etc. for me is therefore frankly secondary. And that you can wash it at 60 °, was already a mandatory requirement, otherwise the pillow would have been out of the question.
