After Sydney Bristow, just freshly baked agent in the service of the SD-6, a secret division of the CIA, their initial test has survived in "Recruited", it is sent along with agent Noah Hicks to Paris to check a fashion house, which in is suspected of being involved in ominous shops. Given the limited experience that Sydney has as an agent, she is here for the first time a really exciting task over - it is quite and not so tough, as they are known from the eponymous television series "Alias," which plays in time much later. This is especially clearly, because they will have to face in this story one of her biggest fears ... In addition, Sydney develops romantic feelings for her partner (you are just in Paris), but which always oscillates between hard leader and compassionate companion to and fro, so that our young heroine is not sure if she really wants to fall in love with Hicks. And as it turns out, the job is far from easy ... Anyone familiar with the TV series, of course, knows what will become of the two; for fans, the book is worth reading anyway. For all others, that you may know the band should "Recruited" in order to better follow the story can; but this is not an absolute must. Even so, the book is a nice story agents to time it was written in a very well-read English.
