The old record in Topfield was so loud that you could hear ever more if the jar was turned on or not (device is in the closet). Due to the many positive reviews (not only at Amazon), I ordered and installed the plate approximately 1/2 year ago. The plate is absolutely silent; I can not hear whether the Topfield is turned on or off. So far me two recorded shows "broken" gone; but this need not necessarily be on the panel, which is why I have this Rate with 5 stars. Processing by seller without any problems.
