1) First, at Mac, it makes you feel that you are important when unpacking the product. I must admit that the presentation is worthy of a wondrous jewel. Superb packaging box, inside rafinné very close to the jewel case. Perhaps this is just a detail, but it reassured and it's nice.
2) The beast is beautiful (which does not spoil anything) but mostly quiet. Hardly if understood purr ... pure happiness.
3) The keyboard is a delight. The proper spacing and good key layout. Perfect level of hardness / flexibility under the fingers. Exit printing type in marshmallow. Also, I love the "sound" soft tinsel but that are the keys. A trivial detail you say? Maybe, but not really for those like me who like to hear / listen to what they do (understand those like me). The backlight of the keyboard is a real plus when the brightness down a tad. However, I regret the absence of a key DEL (or SUP) - the one that clears on site - individualized on the keyboard, because I find it highly effective for disabled typing ten fingers as I am.
4) The trackpad is a pure delight. You can really do whatever you do with a mouse, but mice. Big advantage for nomadism, no need to take his mouse. Furthermore, the touch pad is excessively silky. We really feel his fingers walk on a square piece of satin. A gentle assassin who indoctrinates us to continually fidgeting index '.
5) OSX is a breeze almost. In a few hours I had understood and mastered most of the basic functions. This OS is truly extremely functional and pragmatic. He thinks for you, even before you have thought there! The Mac would they have a soul?
6) The "Dock", located at the base of the screen and that allows access at any time with one click, to all your favorite applications or preferred material is particularly convenient and ergonomic. Beautiful invention OSX, including Windows should certainly draw (but I heard that there are now PC Apps that effectively mimic this tool).
You will therefore understand, my first impressions are everything there was positive. Perhaps they are influenced by the exciting side of the discovery? But if that is so, long may it last! There is a long time since I had not had much fun to discover function after function, order after order, trick after trick, a new computer world, cozy and well designed. That said I would not fail to moderate this view if I had later discover in this incomparable product inconvenience unexpected at this stage ...
Now, Macbookement yours ...
