Since I needed a digital / analog converter for my various projects and because all HDMI slots of my Sony Bravia TV set are already occupied, I decided for HDFury (with DVI and VGA interfaces). Initially, I thought -. OK, the price is high, according to images on the Internet is the part to be something of high quality and the technical specifications are in line with my needs 100% match. Unfortunately, I noticed the negative reviews hardly. But first things first.
The order was, as always, from flawlessly. To this end, there were no complaints. The unit was delivered quickly and I was able to start the "Installation" with the. But nothing there !!!
First, the connection from my Panasonic DMP-BD80 was => HDMI => HDMI / DVI adapter => HDFury = connected> VGA the SONY BRAVIA KDL32W5800. As a message came that the signal is not supported and that you should set your PC output. Because my Panasonic is set to 1080p, I put the resolution to 780p, 576p and 576i then on. But an image I could not manage. Therefore, I thought to myself - that it is not so wild, schlißlich I am still TV component input freely. DC corresponding cable taken from the shelf, went through the same procedure with different resolutions - still no picture. As I thought to myself, if an output device is not compatible with HDFury, then I'll try just been my multimedia hard drive Mede8er 1000 IPTV MAG250, Unitymedia HD receiver and mainframes with the laptop. But with all output devices have the same problem - No picture - and all the cables used were max. 1 meter long. Only on the mainframe, I got a picture for 5 seconds to see. (Before the computer in the full HD mode changed). I believe that the resolution in them for 5 seconds 800x600 corresponded. On the device itself and in the technical specifications but stands up to 1080p.
Obviously all of my TV, screens and playback devices with HDFury are incompatible. I thought maybe I find the manufacturer to any information. But none! - This can be found on the internet just a whole lot of such problematic cases where it ultimately goes just that HDFury with diverse devices is incompatible and that we should try a different resolution or shorter cable.
Such a shame - for the price of almost EUR 70.00 are not correct cable / adapter attached.
The part I packed and sent back. Then I tried for less than EUR 50.00 a converter of Ligawo that came with corresponding adapter cable and the same technical data as HDFury but instead with DVI interface it hatter an HDMI interface. Although the device of Ligawo has no gilded interfaces, but the thing is working properly. But this end still follows a separate report.
