I like the boxes, because the set up and use are very simple. There is a front panel on / off switch and separate volume control. Thus, the volume must be adjusted, so the regulator will hopefully run for years without cracking or exposure around you rarely.
Very positive, I also think the standby function. The speaker thus turn off after the end of music automatically.
Now the most important, the sound:
The boxes sound best when they are supplied via the rear RCA connector. Using the boxes have much more punch.
The sound via mini jack of an iPod or iPod shuffle is significantly worse. The music playing behind a curtain. Maybe it also depends on the output impedance of the signal source, rather than from the terminal. On my PC, I have not tested the boxes.
The boxes play noise and hum with me, even in quiet passages.
The boxes are well suited for background music, but not as Partymacher. For the price of about 80 euros a fair offer.
