And I note that this type of case is becoming more common on Amazon.com. Many items are not available to your country but it is not stipulated in the description.
This is in my eyes a kind of false advertising. Amazon responded by email to my question, and here is their response:
"Please accept our sincere apologies about the difficulties you encountered when moving from your last order for the item Krups YY1530FD on our site.
In exceptional cases, articles may experience additional shipping restrictions (legal or commercial). In your case it is not possible we deliver to Article Krups YY1530FD Belgium.
We are sincerely sorry for the confusion. Know that we are actively working in order to improve the visibility of these delivery restrictions.
Generally if your delivery address is in a country where an item can not be sent, you will get an error message when placing your order, even if it contains other items "
Basically, it tells me what I already knew.
I wanted to know WHY I can me it delivered in Belgium while this is not stated on the product page? If this case is so "exceptional" than that, is it so difficult to give the reason? These are real robots, formatted it will respond with their prefabricated phrases lists, which almost never answer the question.
Never mind, I'll go buy it elsewhere and I will see my future purchases down on Amazon.
