However attention to a few details regarding the review version of 2014:
It is essential to thoroughly work the phrases transformations (use of English) that are complex and require a lot of practice before being perfectly controlled.
For consideration you will have all kinds of exercises for the "reading". With inclusion of text paragraphs, gap-fill (2), sentence transformations. All on 1: 30h
For the "writing", although studying the formats that you are given in the corrections at the end of the book because each of them is important. However, do not rely on what offers the book suggests a tried and re-writing or style exercises. You should know that the day of the exam you will have two essays from 270 to 320 words to write in 1: 30h. It will be an essay and an article or a deferral or a review or another essay on the works of English literature ... etc. So you have to master writing without messy because you do not have time to make one, if not to consider a reflection plane.
I let myself trapped by the book that offers either tried either re-writing exercises, and I found myself sweating profusely to lay my two texts at full speed. However, you can do the exercises of the book as training.
For the "listening", you will have an exercise in each format. Answers to questions as and dialogues, filling texts, audio ... mcq this section lasts 40 minutes and it is, in my opinion, the most difficult.
To test for "speaking", see the book "Speaking test preparation Proficency" perfectly explains the conduct of the examination in support video. This is exactly how everything happens, then, no surprise.
Finally I joined LaurenceB offering the booklet "Common mistakes at Proficiency and how to AVOID them" which is an excellent reminder little subtleties that we forget quickly. Very useful.
After all this, if you still have some money between budget and the registration books, try to make a day of preparation in a school that offers a mock exam. This will be very formative. If you do not have the money, invest primarily in the books that are really needed them.
