Originally I wanted to use in my PC upgrade the existing from my previous PC housing. Unfortunately, however, this was the selected motherboard (ASUS M5A99X Evo) too big, so I needed a new, higher housing. Since I had been assembled yet no PC from scratch, but at most supplemented or replaced some components, a colleague advised me to use a case with largely screwless construction. The Xigmatek Asgard I then found it. The build quality is solid and well. Criticism of sharp edges I can so do not understand, because the drive bays have a separate edge protection - not necessarily a matter of course, because here I had already housing of branded PCs (HP, Fujitsu-Siemens), where the risk of injury when working in housing lot was greater. However, my copy is not available on all four feet, so that it wobbles slightly. Now that all components have been installed, but this hardly bothers by the total mass of the PC. Here can be felt pads o. Ä. Certainly a leveling reach. The installation of the motherboard and all other components went without a hitch due to the height and depth of the cabinet. Even for the cable management is sufficient room next to the motherboard available. The built-in front fan I have replaced with a 120mm Silent fan of Enermax. Another fan of this type I have attached with rubber studs used in the space provided in the rear wall. The Cable Guide and Fastening on the front panel is not optimally solved because a dangling line while placing the visor fell into the area of the fan. Here I needed to use a cable tie. To install the optical drives and hard drives I have left over from the slots unused quick release used on the other side, because my one-sided mounting of the hard drives in particular seemed a bit too uncertain. The snap fasteners of the plug-in cards are strong enough - screwing is really not necessary. It wobbles nothing. From the front panel connections I have only the USB 2.0 port used because I a combined card reader with audio ports, Firewire port (which is why, incidentally, the choice of the mainboard) and a USB 2.0 port and 2 USB 3.0 ports have used. As a complete unit, the housing now makes visually good and unobtrusive figure. The small shortcomings are to get over in the face of really low price, so I would recommend this case fully.
