I have gained this cutting board about 4 months ago and am after frequent use, despite, or perhaps because of the (relatively low) Price more than satisfied. The board is well made, very stable and large enough for most applications. As described in the product description, there is made of acacia wood, which is harder compared as oak and has a juice groove. At this point I would like to point out that the cutting board, despite hardwood, after use (sharp) knife has signs of wear (cuts, scratches ...). This is not a quality defect and can be attributed to the difference in hardness of wood over steel or ceramic. (Who wants to have no scratches on his cutting board should draw on those of glass and for ruining his knife.) Who cares the juice groove, the board can also simply turn because there is this only on one side. To maintain I just use only olive oil: short rub a few drops, leave for two to three minutes and take up with kitchen roll the excess oil. To clean, I use only water to obtain the oil film as long as possible. This is sufficient in most cases, if you do not let dry until the dirt. One should not enter into the dishwasher as there disfiguration faster there. My cutting board is also still flat on the countertop, which should no longer be the case at some point, you just place a damp tea towel underneath, then wobble and no longer slips there.
