I bought two of these bike rack to it (tentatively) to build a device with which I can transport 2 bikes standing on a car trailer. That succeeded. But there is, in my view, some criticisms of this product: - The guide rail for the wheels is little rigid. - The screw of the folding bracket have some play in the ceiling mount bracket. This allows the bike to swing sideways, which will lead sooner or later to the fact that the drilling will turn out in the holding plate and the swing is stronger. - The stroke of the terminal of the retaining bracket (between open and closed position) is too low, so that you can not work alone with the quick release. You have to get the frame of the bicycle between the terminals, the terminal turn on by turning the clamping lever several turns, then use the bike, again a few turns and then firmly clamp the quick release. This is awkward (and I've seen better at a similar product from another manufacturer). The first two points of criticism I got through additional tinkering in the handle, with the third I have to live well. Overall, I find the product for this low price in order. Nevertheless could m. E. manufacturers with little effort and thus a little higher price off the above-mentioned shortcomings. For someone who wants to often carry his bike on the car roof, I would not recommend this product. For occasional transport it will go well.
