I was looking for a tripod for my Olympus E-PL1, which is admittedly not the biggest and heaviest camera, although it should be stable, have an acceptable level and thereby be as easy as it should be used a lot of traveling.
First time the choice fell on the Bilora A245 travel tripod. However, that was the total failure because the tripod on level ground could not be aligned in the balance, because the legs crooked / were of different lengths. So it was sent back.
Then the search started again and ultimately it was decided per Sirui T-005th And I have not regretted it.
The use of tripod is intuitive and easy. The legs can be off by screw caps, which is in contrast to clip fasteners very comfortable and above all fast.
The stand is also in its highest position yet very stable and with 800g (or 1000g with head) extremely light. The amount is (for my size 1,65m) with 1,30m also quite passable.
The ball head (with Panorama function) can be very good use, and also the release plate (Arca Swiss) is top for the price. They can also be used on other tripods with the Arca Swiss standard, so no need to constantly unscrew and re-tighten the tripod exchange.
A tool (Allen wrench) to screw the removable disk is also included, but it may eg also the Allen from any in stock IKEA furniture packages are used :-)
Conclusion: The tripod is a real price-performance miracle, and also still very nice to look in red!
