Ingenious blend of soul, rock and pop!

Cosmo Klein is known now not only as a songwriter for artists like Ben, Gracia Baur or Sasha, but also as an independent artist. In 2003 he released his debut album "This is my time" and thus conquered a solid fan base. In 2005 he was Maya Saban's duet partner while chart hit "All this does not alter." With "Human" was released in 2006 finally be 2nd studio album. And the wait was well worth it.

Already the opener "I love you" is awesome. A beautiful, but not flatly, love letter to the ex-girlfriend, somewhere between pop and soul. Then follows with "Nothing to loose" the first single, the Cosmo audible and skillfully oriented to the rock, yet not a soulful touch misses. He sings in the friendship with a friend who has no joy of life and is only fun in women and alcohol. "Too young to die" describes the sense of crisis, the measures each of us a thing or two times. Man is unhappy with himself and the world, and actually, it would be the best solution to put an end to life. But then one thinks of the poor fools in various talk show and TV formats again and realize that you do not so badly off is (loosely translated). And it is also still far too young to die ("Too young to die and too old to waste my time"), but too old to waste the short time of life. The song sounds very rock. "Urban", however, is more soulful, but also very catchy. Cosmo Klein sings in the emotional problem of some city dwellers, the restless pull through various clubs and beds, always looking for something to which they can give no name. Then follows with "Tonite" a song that sounds for the first time after ballad. But a gentle beat unleashed the whole for a beautiful mid-tempo number that gives food for thought. Song no. 6 is the very soulful and funky album title. A Message to mankind with all its benefits and drawbacks. After that it will be even funkier: "Boys and girls" is reminiscent at times of the good old songs of Prince or Keziah Jones. In "You donŽt know" the singer proves vocal power and sings about a zebrochene, once very close friendship. Again a Rockpopsong slightly soulful influences. "Wannabe" was already on the last tours of the fan favorite. And so they took the very cool, funky number with aufŽs album. A song that just makes fun! Then it is very thoughtful in the ballad "Where did we go wrong". Almost autobiographical it is about a broken relationship also that did not stop in spite of the great love. With "Fall" follows the slowest piece on the whole CD. A great piece of music, that very gently but powerfully towards the end comes. The conclusion is again a very groovy song: "Talk to me". Brilliant!
