The adapter connects inateck 2.5 and 3.5 inch hard drives via the USB cable to the computer.
At 2.5 plates, it is sufficient the adapter to the computer connect to that do not require as much power. With 3.5-plates nor the power cord should be connected.
All my previous hard drives are detected under Windows 7 immediately in Windows Explorer as a drive and can be used.
With 2.5-inch drives even the current, the USB cable is sufficient, as the adapter does not need the extra power cord.
It can be transmitted via USB3 unless the PC can. The transfer from HDD to PC or vice versa was previously always smooth and lossless. Even larger files such as photos slides flawlessly from left to right.
