We are avid moviegoers and 3D enthusiasts.
Therefore, our new TV should be large and 3D capable.
The choice fell on the 'LG 47LB731V because me the Cinema Screen design enthusiasts and 800Hz sounded promising.
Well, what can I say: Today, the TV came with Hermes (not ordered from Amazon) and my friend sat him right after work started.
My friend is more technology-savvy and so it took 15min., To ARD ran.
WOW !!!
Krasses image, appropriate screen size and powerful sound.
I sit currently about 3m away (as well as in the new apartment) and that's totally ok.
Bigger would also, so 55 inches, but they are in the quality, of course, considerably more expensive. For me it was too much, because we have just enough costs with the move.
The image is very sharp and "deep"; I know, of course, HD already.
The TV in my parents does not nearly as image quality, while this one was more expensive. I suspect that as related to the actuality; This TV was only just out 1 year ago.
The colors are brilliant.
We look to date at the default.
The sound is impressive!
I know of no other TV (ie friends and family), who delivers a sound without additional speakers such. There are really bass!
We then switched to Amazon Prime Instant Video: no problem.
One can take care of everything directly to the TV. That's a relief, because we had it so far connect our laptop on the TV screen.
The internal receivers are also more genial; I now receive channels that I did not receive my old, external receiver, eg Disney Channel. :-)
I've never seen a TV with Cinema Screen design, at least not consciously.
Cinema Screen design means at LG that there is no raised rim. When the TV is off, you can not see the edge. If it is turned on, it recognizes a black limitation.
I suspect that this technique helps in 3D, because you did not recognize in the dark room, where the TV starts and where it ends. I could well imagine that so great popout effects are possible.
I would, now that I know Cinema Screen Design, buy anything else! I think that alone is worth the money! Because of course there is the screen size and more favorable TV ...
However, hardly the high refresh rate: 800Hz.
I myself am of complete technology layman, but I do think that movements are very fluid here and real. Especially in fight scenes it is the real thing!
I can not say anything yet, because we still lack a Blu-ray player on the 3D. We will get until after the parade.
I'll then contact me again and still rate this aspect here.
For now, I can say that the LG 47LB731V in 47 inches is a great TV for a maximum of 3m pitch.
Of course we have not tested all the subtleties and I'll extend this review when I have new insights.
Finally, I wish to point out the many places offered 0% financing.
This is a payment model where you can pay without interest rates. That should be interesting perhaps for one or the other ...
PS .: 3D has now tried: Again, wow!
We tested with "Oz the Great and Powerful". This film had impressed us in the cinema; in our opinion the best 3D movie in addition to the 3 Hobbits. Extremely many pop-out effects (ie scenes where something come out of the screen appears).
With the new TV and the favorable 3D Bluyrayplayer LG BP440 a perfect image and a stark sound!
Of course 47 inches are not the world; you would need a screen in movie screen size in order to fully enjoy the 3D effects, but at home and max. 3m seat pitch perfectly adequate.
Therefore, we will now have new movies if possible buy in 3D.
