Initial experience with this camera

I've photographed many years, among others with the following cameras: Leica M4, Canon F1, Canon EOS 30D, Canon EOS 5D Mark II, Canon SX50 HS. My first impression of the RX10: Very good to use, very unloving and poorly translated short manual (Quote: "Viewing the leader" ???), first-class electronic viewfinder, very good workmanship. The Zeiss lens arouses certain expectations. Unfortunately, I'm a fan of the 24-mm focal length. And my first test took me on my balcony. I live in a high-rise building in a high ziehmlich floor, so it lends itself to a test to photograph the sea of ​​houses below me.

The wide-angle 24 mm totally disappointed. Regardless of the panel, only the center is sharp. Wide margins are resolved extremely deficient. That I get to rework in Lightroom (RAW of course) not go. And worse: it show up when diagonal lines pixels podium. So far I have not found a way to eliminate. Perhaps one knows more? Such pixels podium I've found so far in any camera.

From 40 mm all the shots are really okay. Since the Zeiss lens is as one would expect. But the wide angle is wrong, is a bitter blow. If you increase only to 50%, it is acceptable. But why then do I buy a camera for 800 EUR with such errors? Because I can buy the same APS-C camera and pick me a lens that is ok in this area.
