interesting but too focused on clinical cure

This book is interesting, full of fasting on the course and even gives recipes and menus for before, during and after fasting. It shows very well the interests and against indications of fasting. But my conclusion is: can I really do it alone? This book focuses entirely on clinical fasts (the price is exorbitant course) and said that the hospital environment is important.
