"For the Emperor" is dripping with irony, sarcasm and self-righteousness narrative from the perspective of self-loving main character. The hero of this novel slips from an exciting situation to another, but always beautiful careful to keep his head out of the line of fire. Reading this book, I had to smile more than a few times. I highly recommend this book to all those who seek a little respite from the gloom that has otherwise Warhammer40k to offer highly recommend.
