However, anticipating a short, very important to me (sometimes a little violent) Preface:
Who out of ignorance a truly fantastic product poorly evaluated, while potentially interested so aroused the wrong impression (or knowingly want to raise), which should not occur here as a (responsible) reviewer easily. Such an approach, I feel the product and potentially interested parties against unfair, distorting and dangerous! Statements like: "Stay away, the Lenspen stained fingers black ..." really speak for the intellectual horizon of some "photo specialists". How to get really to emphasize to the crazy idea to the Lenspen on fingernails, fingers, palms and skin? Lenspen is not "Use me as a pen on your skin ..." Please clarify me at once, maybe I'm just not creative enough ...

So, a long preface, but it had to be really even written!
Review and use:
As already written, so I use the Lenspen already many years for my photo and video equipment. I clean (dust off) so that even the displays my netbooks and notebooks. In all the years I have not, really not contaminated optics with a velvet surface Lenspens, neither a filter nor the optics of the camcorder or SLR.
As I often like the sea air (surf zone) Scan my camera optics of the weather (water, dust, salt precipitation) are exposed to the high stand unprotected, I have in any camera bag and in each case a Lenspen here. Just a short exercise with the velvet surface in a circular motion without pressure and stress on the glass surface, nachbürsten with the brush - that's it! Everything strip and clean any residue, in seconds and without magic!
Since I wanted to fit and complement also my new suitcase with the Lenspen, I acquired the Hama Lenspen-Kit 3in1. I am as always excited because for the truly inexpensive set the buyer actually gets much! Two Lenspens and even a microfiber cloth!
What I particularly appreciate:
The Lenspen is small, light, handy and fits in / on any shirt or trouser pocket. The cleaning units (brush and velvet surface) are protected by prima female cap and feeder option when not in use. Glass surfaces can be quickly, strip and clean any residue. I brush with the brush off even the camera body.
The only improvement worthy point:
In my old Hama Lenspens the Samtoberflächen are not round, but mounted on a triangular base. These Lenspens I get much easier into corners and corner areas (especially in filters).

IMPORTANT NOTE:
The manufacturer should be placed in red, bold text and 24pt font size on the package really once, just about completely inappropriate reviews an ignorant group of people to take the wind out of the sails.
Drive really NEVER NEVER with the velvet surface of Lenspens over her skin, hands, fingers, fingernails or other parts of the body and parts! NIEEEEEEEE! The skin its protective lipid film connects immediately with the velvet surface (and the benötigtem at that befindlichem and gentle cleansing powder). Powder + sebum form the cleaning attempt a (sometimes black) lubricating film on all surfaces to be cleaned! If the velvet surface of Lenspens but once have been contaminated with fat, so they can only use and only the brush attachment of Lenspens future!
--- --- ---
Pros:
+ Unbeatable price for 2 Lenspens and 1 microfiber cloth
+ Small, light, handy (fits in any pocket or shirt pocket)
+ Protected cleaning units (brush + velvet) when not in use
+ Absolutely residue-free cleaning
Cons:
- A triangular velvet surface would have liked better (taste and a matter of opinion)
My Conclusion:
Just buy it and worthwhile investment! Lenspens not belong in any photographic equipment and definitely in the hands of ignorant reviewers!
In this sense - Thorsten
