Upon delivery, small rubber O-rings on the axles, which lead to the destruction of the spring and the pressure plate opening for guidance, since the spring washer can not be pressed right from the PIT code key. The support of Pitlock proved to be extremely unreasonable and not accommodating. After trying to fob me with a standard answer, I was held up in a second e-mail as not smart enough for the system and explained that a lack of mention of the rubber O-rings, which represent a transport security was reason enough to omit. Thank you for this nice explanation ...
Otherwise you have to note that the rear axle is too long and should be at least two people when opening the system. My recommendation: one holds the wheel, a second press really hard on the PIT code key and the third opens with a lever system. (As a lever behind suitable only a PASS ending hex wrench, since the lever because of to the long axis can not be inserted through both holes of the Pit-code key, but only one.)
If we make it right so you have to off anyway and the spring (4.90 EUR + 4,50 EUR shipping) and Teflon washers replace (2.90 EUR + 4,50 EUR shipping)!
PRO:
- Relatively safe
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
- Expensive (TransX Securalock only 15 euros)
- Complex opening with code key
- Too long rear axle
- High costs
- Fast but not sympathetic Service
CONCLUSION: Stay away!
