Compare, for simple curiosity, the number of pages of the French translation (380) and that of the original version (509). Certainly, the French version is printed in slightly smaller type but ... At first I started reading all the books of this author in French and then I have replayed in English gradually as they are now available. However, the French version leaves unsatisfied, the language is less polished and I always feel that one missing piece. An error of my senses abused?
