After trying another monopod, Manfrotto also home, which had lent me (model 682), I told myself: too heavy (1.15 kg), too bulky (69 cm folded), too expensive (almost 100). Besides the maximum loading of 12 kg would use to me, since I do not have the chance to own one of these super telephoto very bright, very heavy and terribly expensive.

Monopod with this one, it is just the opposite: it is lightweight (0.5 kg), much less bulky (49 cm, fully folded, not 59, as it is written in error, four times in the Detailed technical data sheet), and two times cheaper. So I have nothing but good to say.

Good to know: the thread in Congress 3 / 8th inch mounted spring is a bit confusing at first: we vainly sought a tool, not provided for the dismantling and switch to 1/4 inch, but in fact, as explained in the little booklet, not the 1/4 is not inside the 3 / 8th: screw your camera or your kneecap 1/4 inch and the thread in 3 / 8th disappears simply to make room not to 1/4 inch. It's a bit suprenant but ingenious.

Last point: if you opt for the MM294A4, careful not to be confused with the MM294A3 (almost the same reference, save for one digit), which has only three sections instead of four, which is about 10 cm longer, when fully folded, the MM294A4.
