It's the return of the zombies!

Many words come to mind to describe Dead Island: enjoyable, addictive, addictive, immersive, etc. Quietly developed by a small studio I was one of those who waited impatiently for it is often small little-known developers coming out of the atomic bombs and in the case of Dead Island we are right into it.

The game takes place on the island paradise of Banoi or you incarnate to choose one of four playable characters each with their chosen field (melee, throwing object, gun, etc.) and each their own history .

From the first minutes of the game atmosphere is there, infected move as quickly as in the film 28 days later and you'll soon pass from life to death if you think you can initiate a battle against several of them with a simple knife. In this game it is not the nag beat them all but an action game / RPG with a large exploration side as the island is huge and from the start you can either spend doing the main quest or so think outside the fought to explore the island, meet other survivors who will give you various quests or collect money and items for later.

The title looks like Bordelands insofar as it is a game in FPS view but also with a XP points system that will make you pass levels and earn points that you can invest in three distinct areas that will before your game. Some skills allow to do more damage with blunt weapons, and others allow you to pick locks. In short we take great pleasure in smashing the zombies to amass XP.

Gun side not we go with the back of the spoon will be available as: paddle, shovel, hammer, diving knife, baseball bat, pipe, wrench, short an arsenal that has its own characteristic (Wear the weapon, damage range). During your exploration you can use the workshops to repair your weapons, improve or create using plan you find on the island or by completing quests.

The graphics on the PC are very strong. The textures are beautiful, the depth of field of view is superb and the animated zombies are very well done. Only downside a sort of general vagueness can not be disable in graphics menu. I hope that in future it will be possible MaJ to remove it but it does not affect the enjoyment of playing and beautiful graphics.

The months of September, October and November will see a very large number of tumble games including many blockbuster but I highly recommend you spend some of your sub set aside for Dead Island, a fantastic game that takes unhesitatingly 1st place of my ranking of the best games Survival horror zombies, far exceeding Dead Rising and company.
