As I type this case for retaining functional than the original SmartCase of Apple, I grudgingly my new Air2 ca naked two weeks dragged (the pad naked, not me. That would not have gone well two weeks). Ums save money, it was not me, the Apple Case knows steep positions, flat and closed.
Folding Cases contrast to steep, somewhat flatter and completely flat to tap with a slight inclination as a keyboard.
The center position is imho correctly when, sitting at a low table in the living room around the coffee table.
Addendum: In the product photo I recognize three grooves for setting up the iPads. However, only two are available.
