For graphics:
- Some textures I find less HD-like, with some I tend to feel they have been revised very roughly and quickly to be able to actually write on HD
- It flickers slightly and looks a little fuzzy
- The textures load partly quite slow
- The hair textures would still needed a bit more attention, see fixed part and put out
- The loading screen is nice, but it loads very slowly, it is not up to date (after installing)
Of course there are also beautiful moments, for example, I am very impressed with Maze or by the water, but a WOW effect I had not. Even if I had used more SmartGlass to compare old and new.
Control and menu
- The control can prove itself, but there are 2 proposals (Fable 1, Fable 2/3)
- The menu looks firstonce confusing, but has become redesigned quite nice, maybe a bit strange
Game
- Some new glitches and bugs
- Sometimes it freezes or displays a black screen
- Camera is sometimes rather unfavorable, for example in the fight, with cut scenes
- To examine a hero camera to his hero is missing
- Scars system seems not to work (or I do not see it: 'D)
- The aging system causes now that my hero with 29 gray hair and wrinkles get like a 50 year old has
- Combat system is sometimes rather unfair, for example, is an opponent automatically sighted standing back and doing nothing while you try directly in front of hero to hit the enemies with the bow
Others:
- The DLCs are an impertinence! Lionhead had still claimed not to change or add more weapons and armor are now available in the package for the price of 2,49Euro for. That should not have been.
- The pre-order DLC are also not quite the game, also it takes a long time to realtiv they can use
- There is no optional innovations (eg cosmetic potions), is only really new graphics and menu
- SmartGlass is possible but connected unhelpful and Surcharges
My conclusion:
I loved Fable TLC (on the PC and on the Xbox) Fable 2 also, Fable 3 less. I am an absolute fan and did not hesitate immediately but for 40 euros, I am left wondering what the developers have done since pre-order. The graphics are okay, sometimes not quite my taste, partly technically immature, the game system and the story they have not reinvented and new features, apart from the incredible DLC, there is not even.
Having a little bit I'm annoyed for this new Fable old spent so much money, where the original but also everything does what it promises.
Maybe it's the Xbox version, perhaps to my expectations, but remains in me a sense: I paid money for it, I should see the postive. And wait for patches and possible innovations.
All are still thinking I advise: wait until it will cost about 25 euros, remember it's a console, until then take the old Fable and so have fun. And then you go out of the money saved to eat.
