Return shipping costs were repaid me by the seller (~ € 30) 2 to 3 hours after I sent him the note.
1 Then after I got a new phone, this time in French and consistent with the description.
Apart from this mistake and these long waiting times due to deliveries outside Europe, the seller is very cooperative and responsive in its answers by email (less than 24 hours in general), and offered a refund or returns of a French version of phone. I asked sends a telephone detailing precisely my expectations on the product to avoid a second unpleasant surprise.
The person I was communicating by email does not master the French point of view of a spelling and conjugation, but understand what is asked and what is to be understood as well.
After 1 and a half months waiting for my purchase on Amazon, I finally received the item conforms to its description.
Regarding the product itself, I am satisfied on the material, a little less on the Android interface.
Relativizing compared to the price of 190 euros (postage included):
Materials:
- A 5 inch in hand feels weird compared to my old ~ 3.5 inches, but the screen is on top.
- Camera on top I'm a fan of quality for the price. The one on the top front of a little less, but the bonus is that in my opinion
- Dual SIM + a slot for an SD card.
- The battery can not be removed without tools: You have to unscrew a part of the housing in order to remove or disconnect.
- Telephone highly reactive.
- Battery OK, I'm just playing with, it holds the day with full of apps that download my WIFI.
- The charger is very limited compared to the phone, there are extension cords and adapters for French EDF made. . . . pretty bad and adapters do not very robust area. I might buy in a universal (and slightly better) in less than a year.
Software:
I'm not a fan of this new android interface. To me it is a little too changed. But I think I'll get used to it.
Some applications can not be uninstalled, just deactivated.
I often messages in English asking me for permission to readings in my personal data, I have not yet sought how removed, but this is really heavy after a while. I hope it will sarrêter or it is configured.
ASUS really cool apps useful, the other much less (which can be disabled only).
Overall:
- From the phone itself I'm pretty satisfied. Charger somewhat limited, and error popups are the big points lower (for now, I did that for two days, I think and I hope it will stop once all configured). Otherwise the Intel processor works well. . . that's what attracted me and I'm not disappointed for the price.
- Transaction: error on the part of the seller that cost expensive in delivery time. But cooperative seller, accommodating and nice.
