Review:
In the box of the adapter was only in a plastic bag, which at least saves a frustration unpacking and not unnecessarily large amount of garbage clogged my tonnes. Description not there, but everyone who ordered this product, should be to serve in the position. The contacts seem to be even gilded (... or brass). The build quality is sturdy, the cables are to be expected as in the picture thick enough strain relief on the cable ends. At the plugs you see the dividing planes of injection, but deburring can be even in high-end products is no longer today really expect. Also, I do not want to snuggle with the product or touch it every day, which is to get stuck in laptop> 90% of the time.
After a somewhat stronger plugging my headset into the matching color (and with embedded symbols provided) contacts and the trouble connecting to the laptop, it worked as expected. Microphone signals arrive at the laptop, audio signals in the headset. Note for laymen: Drivers are not required for headphones / microphones / headsets, which are connected via jack (the elongated connector with black rings on it); something to me certainly never come to my attention.
Conclusion:
Strong buy recommendation, since the product works as expected and is surprisingly well made. Has it really saved me from purchasing a new headset.
