After more than 30 wonderful John Williams soundtracks have listened to me, I come now to experience "different" to enjoy, Williams. Because this CD is not a Soundtrack Album: Here there are several concert arrangements and compositions by Williams it. Of particular note is of course "Call Of The Champions", which fully convinced by the wonderful fanfare and chorus. Impressive is in the middle of the piece, the incorporation of a Christmas or winter mood. The choir performs a peaceful and pompous Meldie which produces goose bumps. "American Journey" is made up of several parts and is not necessarily impressive, but definitely a worthy, and Williams always good to listen to. Tip I find "The Mission" Theme from NBC News. Strings play fast sequences and a trumpet presents peppy messages. Then the strings play a gentle topic, what gets under your skin. "Song For World Peace" seems a bit boring at first, but turns out to be later than ear candy.
For fans of John Williams' Call VOF The Champions "is of course a must, just because it sometimes shows Williams from a different angle. But for everyone else, the great music with full orchestra may have with this CD in the best recording quality and top orchestras operated excellently.
