New of "overrun" or "survival" mode in which a position fight against NPCs or other players must be won. The clock is ticking relentlessly. If you make it as the attacking team not in time to take the control point the game is over. Manage both teams each the last checkpoint (always a generator) decides to take the time needed between victory and defeat.
In itself, a very nice idea. However, the "survival" mode where you fight against NPCs and come to an overall 10 assault waves must little frequented, which is for casual gamers not beneficial. Because to assert itself in Overrun against the pro gamer's form a good team almost impossible and often ends in despair. Now is precisely the tactics and team building important for the victory, no question. If it were not, as in GoW 3 unequal division team are thrown at map change by the many newcomers to the players and one with considerably more experience together in the other team ... Have fun losing ...
Initially only 4 maps for these modes were available, which was a bit monotonous. Now there are free and paid DLCs iron out the this shortcoming somewhat.
The remaining multiplayer modes are made Genre conventional and well.
What we need, however, GoW 4 praise is the very jazzed storyline in which one can make various additional challenges and unlock additional characters for the MP modes. The staging of fights and cutscenes are Gow typical awesome.
I also like the disarmed Medal challenges and successes. When I think back to GoW 3 and the conditions for Onyxmedaille "Wasted Youth" .... which gets its name more than deserved.
