Full of anticipation, I unpacked the case and was initially disappointed. The housing provided does not look like the pictures ... It is very cheap, although it is packed quality. The items were welded into bags, the housing itself in a plastic window on the carton. In addition came that the housing at the bottom already had abrasions. Do not bother me that, since the plate predominantly dwells in the cabinet and allowed out only for backups, but it's really ugly.
The incorporation of the hard drive turned out to be patience. Since no guidance and no screwdriver was there, you had to cobble together an external hard drive from the puzzle somehow. For someone who does not know how hard drives are backed up and secured, this may well lead to failure. At the end of the installation, you have to unclip the fixing the rear plastic cover with plastic noses. The part can not AGAIN REMOVE without anything CANCEL! So think twice before, that all screws are properly fixed, or whether it wants to install another disk. Once the case is closed, it is too!
To use: Since the plate is only for backups via Time Machine to use, I can say little about the handling. The plate has a switch for on and off. The USB 3.0 cable could be longer, is for me now but not tragic. The power cable could also be longer (which for me is more of a problem, but there are multiple plug ...)
The copying speed is fine. USB 3.0 is significantly faster than the USB 2.0 on my old hard drive.

- Wobbly leadership of the hard disk
- No instructions for installing it!
- No screwdriver
- Short Cable
- Already zerkratzes housing (probably not at all so ....)
- Once installed, there is no turning back (plastic noses otherwise break off and hard drive no longer holds)
- General quite inexpensive optics and processing but what one wants to be expected with just reads another 12.
I'm going to definitely buy a new housing, because me the safety of hard drive is already important and I can not quite trust this cheap part.
