It should then be a case and a separate 2.5-inch hard drive.
But what connection?
My little getting on in day Shuttle XPC has the somewhat forgotten eSATA port and USB2.
New PC - a new one must eventually sometime ago - are often equipped only with USB3 and no eSATA.
So I was looking for an enclosure with eSATA and USB3.
Plenty of it not there, I'm quick to USB 3.0 & eSATA Uspeed Anker come housing.
The ordered to Western Digital 1TB WD10JPVT Blue internal hard drive is inserted within one minute without screws and runs without hesitation.
The housing is made of aluminum, nothing rattles or wobbles. I run it through eSATA. Additionally required electricity comes from USB3 port.
There are of me full marks!
