I bought the Ixus 1000 HS, because I'm so far been very happy with all my predecessors Ixus models. If you are familiar with Ixus cameras, you find yourself, as always actually, fast menu cope. Everything I have not tried yet and I probably will not, as some functions are not necessary for me. Overall, I am very satisfied with the camera. Quality and the price / performance ratio vote. A star deduction is available for the high power consumption. The battery is Ratz Fatz all! I do not know what it is, because the replacement battery as well. Probably the right battery for the camera is too weak or video recordings in HD need more juice ... but the battery also charges quickly, but annoying the constant Wechselei a realization. The problem I had not other Ixus models anyway. Also solved unhappy is the start / stop button for video recording. I am now so often come to this stupid button and have thereby made unwanted video footage. Where the key is, you have the right-most thumbs to hold the camera. Accidentally starting the video mode is thus unavoidable.
