Here are my positive and negative points:
Positives:
- The pen is sensational. It glides easily over the paper without spilling or smearing. The typing comfort is more reminiscent of a gel pen. Without exaggeration: This is the best ballpoint pen, which is so far ever crossed my fingers !! (I hope that the refill is just as good. Have not tried yet).
- The practical format of just 12cm length makes the pen an ideal travel companion. I think that he will fit into the smallest handbag.
- The value for money is very good, even if one considers only the pen into consideration.
Negatives:
- The cap sits extremely tight on the pin. One-handed operation is therefore unfortunately impossible, and even with both hands have to be quite an effort to remove the cap. It has this almost fear that one breaks something.
- The bracket for attachment to the shirt pocket or other fabric edges is much too tight. Just hook it did not work before, but even with the help of all the nails, it is very troublesome to attach the pen somewhere. Rather give the nails to ... ;-(
- The "Ultra-soft rubber tip" is no - as I thought - ball, but is hollow inside, so to speak, a kind of rubber bladder. This means that it is very wobbly and gives way when typing on the screen and goes quite in the width. This makes it much too thick and imprecise. The better I get back with my little finger.
- A fundamental disadvantage of operation with a stylus has become clear to me until now: When you enter on the virtual keyboard you are thrown back to the Einfinger search system. Who does not typed faster anyway, will feel not necessarily a disadvantage. But who otherwise rather typed with multiple fingers, is significantly slower progressing.
- And one fundamental disadvantage: When operating a multi-touch display is not always used so only one finger. There are a number of control gestures that you perform with several fingers, for example zooming, which I quite often personally use. If one uses so a stylus, it means that you have to constantly put to the execution of the multi-finger gestures the pen from his hand, or switch between stylus and fingers. This disrupts the workflow of course extremely and simply no fun.
- Although the pens, as mentioned, really great writing, longer letter is so then quite uncomfortable because the grip, on the one touches the stylus is too narrow and angular. That hurts in the long run. Too bad, because otherwise the pen might be better than perfect.
Conclusion:
Toller pens, but the function of this pin, namely the use of a touch screen, has proved to me as not suitable for everyday use.
Best Regards.
