I thought buying a "Dymo clip", as I had known ... in time! In fact, writing is no longer highlighted as it was before, and it looks just printed on the tape. Hopefully it will last as long. Beware of batteries. With fresh batteries (but purchased for several months) the device was dying when I asked to print a label. I thought it was not working. Everything is back to normal with recent batteries. A power adapter can be used to replace the batteries, but be careful, given the necessary amperage, 2A I think, is not the entry-level model that will work.
