My vehicle I wash very often, and seal it with Sonax Nano Protect level 1 (ie a pure sealing). After more than one year but I have had the problem that the paint was not as smooth as 1 year ago, when I bought the car new. Say residues from rust (I have even mistaken for paint flaws, because they were easy to remove with nothing), tar, tree sap residues. All this led even with a freshly waxed car to an off-glossy lacquer.
A good friend presented me his Golf 5, whom he had treated with clay. He also maintains its vehicles (including a vintage car) on a regular basis, and was also amazed at how much dirt you still runterholt with the dough.
Now to the application:
It was a little difficult to get the dough from the plastic sheet out, as they already stuck to the foil. Take heart, the film goes off properly with a little more force. The important thing is really that one always in 1 hand takes the dough and shaping it into a bale (that is through the use then always flat) and in the other hand the spray bottle. Now always sufficient spray and then deal with the dough to coat. I've had the best experience with small, circular motions. The spots will go away better than with linear motions. Large pressures are not necessary! But make sure that enough fluid is present in the paint. Then the dough slides almost by itself. Be sure that it will not slip out a fingers !!! Once landed on the floor they should be thoroughly cleaned without the sand or similar knead into the dough.
Sometimes it is necessary that one time circling over a 10-20 Teerfleck until it is removed. Even rust can thus safely remove!
After treatment (has in my car today lasted about 2 hours) once the vehicle in a washing box with osmosis water (ie de-mineralized!) Hose down and then sealed with nano-wax.
The result is an incredibly smooth paint! As a baby-Popo. ;-) I had honestly not expected. I can imagine that it's tempting to pick up with pure chemicals or abrasive pastes the whole damn convenient and faster by the paint, but to resort to the same chemical mace or lacquer planing was not for me the question! For me the car was too expensive because after 1 year ablate the 1st varnish layer ...
There are many people who wennman times Browsed through the forums they call the dough does not turn you on, or wait until the resin has probably burned into the paint for years. These people should ask in advance whether the dough which is for them ... Some even reported that he would apply it without liquid and then surprised that the clay distributed in the paint!
For my part I can only recommend the material! And when the spray means once every is (I have today consumes about 100-150 ml (ie sufficient for 3-5 applications)), then I'll see if I need a new dough (ie the set new buy) or just a new solution accreting (with a little fit / Pril and water). The area is suitable for it. They can be opened easily.
I never really write reviews, but some have helped me a lot and so I give back something of it.
So: Buy and enjoy grooming!
