This device is very convenient.
Immediately recognized by the computer (Mac running Snow Leopard), and after selected as the output device ringer in the configuration, the device functions.
First tests, launch a title, the rendering looks really good ... until the first words and some low key (Aaron - Passenger), then it really spoils MUCH.
The bass lacks completely deep snare drums have a metallic resonance not really nice.

Ok we are facing a transportable device, one can not but welcome light weight and carrying case comes standard. The sound is serte better than a basic laptop is able to produce (except my MacBook Pro), by cons it definitely lacks a device to amplify the bass.

To retain solely for use by frequent mobility ...

Little trick, in the iTunes equalizer settings, retain the profile R & B, this setting greatly improves sound reproduction.
