This level comprises graduations every 1/4 degree. I therefore expected that the accuracy of the information is at least that height. It is not so: a very simple and quick test is to lay the level on a smooth, flat surface, and then to turn the place upgrade every 90 °. The level should always indicate the same direction to the slope and the same angular offset for this slope. The Ortofon level gave me incoherent indications for these two quantities, with angles of up to + or - 1/3 °, with directions all round! This is certainly enough for a turntable, but not to check the horizontality of the telescope base. The seller was very understanding but stresses that this use requires better accuracy.
