Lamentable write speed

I intended this key to Timeshifting and digital recording (PVR) to my TV bought from Amazon there is a little over a month.
Huge disappointment: my brand new Philips 47PFL6008 refuses arguing that key of a slow write speed!

Back on a PC (I tested my home and my job and on different USB ports): CrystalDiskMark I use to measure the flow.
Result, I get a ridiculous 3.8MB / s sequential write (another of my key 4GB built in 10 years gets almost 5MB / s), while the bottom of the recent range USB 2.0 is established at least 8MB / s !!! Sandisk and is not meant to be low-end!

Since this morning, I try to reformat the key under Seven and it miserably train (yes it's been more than 6 hours the formatting has begun and it is still not finished).

In short! Or I came across a copy with a manufacturing defect (?) Or the USB key is really to flee!
