Benefits:
- Very good adjustable cone of light through Advanced Focus System
- Nice homogenous light cone
- Strong light
- Rechargeable
- Lightweight
- Operate both with supplied battery, and batteries
Serious drawbacks:
- Unreliable because in the foreseeable future, a loose connection may occur (see very thin connecting cable in the picture) -> absolute knockout criterion !!! Both the prices for, as well as the security aspect.
- Hinge on the battery compartment very thinly constructed (see picture) -> risk of fracture (initially I thought that here, the predetermined breaking point)
- LED LENSER makes no warranty !!! If the lamp is broken, it's broken.
Whining at a high level:
- Thinner second circle of light around the main cone around (similar to the red dot in the logo of LED LENSER). But does not interfere with more after 5 minutes.
- Automatic control dims if you just always looks to the max level, to read a card she dims to min down - so this has no intermediate stages.
- Red LED unusable because too weak
- To the evening in the camp at the cottage to make min light level slightly too bright times the lamp.
Conclusion: As long as the lamp works it's really fun and is ideally suited for many applications. Anyone considering buying the lamp, but should keep in mind that the shelf life, in my opinion, by the insanely thin power cable and the battery cover is constructed thin but very manageable. There is no guarantee of LED LENSER. Too bad, because I've seen priced did not find this lamp come cheap.
