I've bought the TP-LINK router to have for my digital mixer a portable Wi-Fi connection available, about which I can remotely control the console at events via laptop and smartphone. That worked out very well for about 1-2 hours of configuration work on all four devices (TP-LINK, mixer, laptop and smartphone). With the modem function I gained no experience, since I do not need a connection to a telephone line or the Internet for my application. The extensive display elements provide in operation a good overview of the selected configuration, unused connections and operation.
