I read it once in a nutshell (used camera Sony SLT A77)

++ Super sharpness andd full aperture fit
++ The Fraben kräfig and balanced
++ The SSM AF is fast, quiet and very important fail
++ The glass is comfortable to hold and very "valent"
++ The weight distribution with / on the A77 is super

o The price is high, but the performance compensated for all :)
o The tube runs out during zoom up to 40mm
o No dust / water seal, hmm so far I had no problems
