After much research I came to the conclusion that Ballistol probably is the best means for leather care, especially for leather belt. Then I ordered and tested me this. The spray is very fine and should be better used outdoors. The smell is very chaotic and therefore to use the more reason this outdoors. I have it sprayed on a cotton cloth and rubbed my belt. A light film remains on the surface, which is however not a problem since no residue or the like remaining on the clothes. For other purposes, I would not want to use it inside the home.
