Although I have purchased the player in the trade, but would still like to submit a review for this product.
Previously I had an LG BP620, due to its very good position in Chip.de and other very good test results. Unfortunately, this had an unpleasant high-pitched beeping when playing the BD, which had ruined the movie experience, especially in relatively quiet scenes.
Hence my search for a new silent BD Player me very good image quality. According Chip.de Philips has only 0.2 sone, making it one of the quietest player. Furthermore, I found any reviews had this player described as loud. In short, I was not disappointed this last time. At a very fair price (89 EUR, Stand 11.09.2012) I got a quiet player, with solid service and very good image quality. For DVD upscaling I can not say anything because I have to date played only BD.
For anyone who is looking for a quiet player an unlimited buying recommendation.
