Light Anfangskränkeleien, yet a potential new star in the sky Metal

Apocalypse (Audio CD)

Customer Review

When I learned in Macic Circle Music Newsletter of the Single and led me the sound samples on the band's website ([...]) to heart, it was clear to me: Here is a new star in the sky on Metal. Without further ado, I ordered the single.

Now it's there, but I met her with mixed feelings. The title track "Apocalypse" is well done, as is the interpretation of "The Phantom of the Opera", although I personally prefer the Nightwish version. A star in these songs.

"Resurrection" and "Last Vision" win me only thanks to the strong-voiced choruses and guitar solos, while the rest of the text rather then ripples. Taken together, these two songs as a metal construction kit consisting of chorus, verses and solos act assembled.

But with tooth and nail to only one star.

The media part of the single is called a. "Electronic Press Kit", a kind of video presentation of HolyHell that disclosing its ambitions, as well as a qualitative rather good video of their performance with "The Phantom of the Opera" at the Masters of Rock Festival of 2005. Another star for this.

Power bottom line 4 stars, suggesting despite initial Kränkeleien imagine a high potential, especially since the Songrepertoir of HolyHell is far greater than can be heard on the single.

So I stay in anticipation of a longplayer and wish you much pleasure in listening and viewing of music.
