The lamp would be ideal for my purposes: The light color is quite pleasant (albeit a bit too yellow), the viewing angle is very large and the light is very bright, so that the four recessed spotlights illuminate my study well.
Here is a constant hum heard that drowns the sound of hard drives and PC fans also in the study. So the lights are useless! I'll return the lamps.
