The Wii U Pro Controller has several advantages:
- It operates autonomously (no need to connect it to a Wiimote, unlike the Wii Controller Pro)
- It is charged by USB and has an internal battery (no batteries to manage)
- It is light, far more than the Xbox 360, for a form factor and broadly similar functions
- It is well in hand, the shape is pleasant, willing buttons
However, I think it is not perfect:
- The first I bought was a sensitivity problem (she herself pointed down, almost always). Fortunately Amazon to me changed rapidly. But either I had a big blow of bad luck, or it shows an imperfect reliability. I never experienced this problem with my Xbox controllers, while I have owned 4 or 5.
- I happen directions that are "stuck", as if we oriented the stick in one direction, while it is in central position. By resetting the controller or restarting the console, it solves the problem. I think it is a problem that can be generated when the stick is not perfectly centered when the controller or the console starts. But again, it's a detail a bit annoying, I have never seen on Xbox 360.
- The price is high
In conclusion: this is a pretty good handle, which would be perfect if the light startup reliability problem was solved and if the price was slightly planed.
