Since I with 8GB internal memory now for a few weeks my own call the Philips GoGear Azure, I now want to share my experience with the player in a nutshell. Maybe it will help someone in the purchasing decision. As I have already read some reviews about the Azure, I must first say: In my eyes, the player does exactly what it should. Namely play music, and, FullSound, in super quality. Books you should rather read (otherwise you forgotten how to have) and who wants to watch videos, maybe you should be careful when buying, which is not necessarily a 2.2 inch screen ideal for this task. Operation of the player is self-explanatory easily. It's fast at the start and it can be navigated easily. Shoveling data is also straightforward of equip, because you can practice even without the software supplied with Philips Songbird. Very pleased I am with the long battery life and the weight of only 45 g. I also wear it much playing sports on the upper arm, that bothers me the lightweight barely. The radio with RDS and recording function and 20 preset memory is very good. Super thing is also playback via Bluetooth. Works for me flawlessly on the terrace with a cheap device from Medion. Also, who wants to look at still photos and make voice recordings. But I think it will be MP3 players used more rarely.
Somewhat annoying is the emerging after every reboot warning before hearing. I do not believe that there already 80 decibels are reached. For me, it is certainly too low. But probably we have to thank the EU and its policies, to such annoying things get used.
Unfortunately, the supplied headphones are of sound, although quite good, but for active people barely usable. In EAR or ironing headphones were here probably much better. (When my wife she did not fit into the ear).
Conclusion: If you have equipped the Azure some decent headphones with separate volume control, is certainly very well advised with him. If only for the Full Sound option. With better headphones I should have smooth awarded 5 Stars.
